What SHRD stores

Anonymous gameplay uses a random device identifier saved in your browser so taps can be counted without requiring an account. SHRD stores contribution totals, recent activity, and mission progress. If you sign in, Clerk handles authentication and SHRD associates your chosen display name and contribution totals, referral code, ranks, levels, combos, and achievements with your account.

Live activity, countries, and sharing

SHRD may receive a country code from Vercel's request headers to calculate country rankings and aggregated live regions. The gameplay database does not store your raw IP address. Live country names are only shown when at least two active devices share that country, which avoids exposing a lone participant's location signal.

Referral attribution connects a random device identifier with the referral code used on its first visit. When you explicitly create a share card, SHRD stores a snapshot of your contribution, the world's progress, stage, and optional referral code behind a random public link.

Payments and infrastructure

Stripe processes optional support payments; SHRD does not store full card details. Neon stores the mission and leaderboard data. Vercel hosts the service and provides privacy-focused web analytics and performance measurements, which may process technical information such as device, page, and network data.

Google advertising

When advertising is enabled, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve and measure ads. Google and its partners may personalise ads based on visits to SHRD and other sites. You can manage personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings and learn how Google uses data on partner sites.

Where consent is required, an advertising consent message will be shown before ad technology is used. Declining personalised advertising does not prevent contextual or limited ads from appearing where permitted.

Your choices

You can clear SHRD's local device identifier through your browser's site-data controls. Signed-in users can manage authentication data through their Clerk account controls. Browser settings and the consent message can be used to manage advertising cookies where available.
